Dashboard and Pages
Denali 5 is designed around the way companies work. Administrators can create product/service dashboards in seconds and add pages with flexible content,layouts and security. You define who sees the dashboards or pages. It's really simple and really powerful.
Tell your story
Our goal with Denali is to enable your communicate better - the software enables you to communicate with employees, sales, distributors, vendors and customers. You can go from simple announcements (Think "Facebook Wall") to larger concepts (think full blogs entries with multiple sections and segments). We also recognize that you want to visually tell your story - using Denali you are able to include file attachments, images (including galleries and carousels) and video (one or multiple in a video album). You can set expiration dates on the content so you can write and leave (For example a press release) and define who sees what content.
Administer & Personalize
Denali has evolved over time to include administration tools to help the organization — things you might not normally think about such as: ability to migrate people from one dashboard to another, user cloning, mass changes to dashboard groups and various reporting functions. Denali really enables you to customize the environment to meet your business needs and internal workflows.
Online File Sharing Made Easier
Denali enables organizations to share files with the intended audience easily. Contributors can upload files up to 5GB and notify users or groups of their availability. The system also understands the files and will show images or video thumbnails immediately. To top things off, the system automatically tries to tag files and apply keywords to help other users find them faster. The system leverages Apache Lucene to provide rich search indexing - so, if you add a PDF, XLS or DOC file, the system enables users (with appropriate access) to search using keywords found in the documents.

If people leave your organization or are no longer distributors/dealers etc., they will no longer have access to the files.

The system also enables users to download multiple files. Using the in-built drop-n-go feature, users can select files as they go from different dashboards and then download everything in a single step! Cool.

File Bundling
One of the coolest new features in Denali was a direct request from many customers: bundling.
The scenario is simple — you are releasing a new product and you want to provide very specific documents (Presentations, white papers etc.), media (images, video) and information (position outlines etc.) to the organization (sales etc) ... Denali enables you to quickly select files (even from different areas or dashboards) and combine them into Bundles. Even cooler is the fact that the bundles are security-aware... this means users with different permissions ONLY SEE what you intend them to see. (Example: you have a bundle with pricing information included, you may not want certain users in sales to see the information)
Flexible Security
Denali 5 enables you to quickly and easily define exactly who sees what. You can define user roles (Such as administrator, executive, author, ...), create groups (Such as sales, marketing, vendorX) or even pick a specific set of users able to see a page or dashboard or project (Great for Beta programs etc.) Denali 5 takes it further and even enables distributors, dealers and vendors to even manage their own subset of users and groups all within the boundaries of their own access rights!

Power Search
Over time organizations end up with huge file respositories - how does a user (especially a dealer or distributor) find the important files and steer clear of old and stagnant information? Denali provides the ability for authors to label, tag, annotate, version and flag files with ease. Authors can define certain files as "special", dictate whether certain files are only to be associated with a particular product release (for example a software update) and even set expiration dates on files. Denali provides powerful searching capabilities (including full text and Apache Lucene-indexed searches).
Case Studies and Testimonials
This might appear out of place, but we believe case studies and testimonials are an essential Marketing/Marcom/Strategy component of any business. Too little time is spent creating effective case studies. Denali 5 has a whole area devoted to helping companies create, publish and distribute cases studies.
Reporting
Denali 5 provides an in-built reporting engine, helping you understand exactly what users are looking at, what employees are adding and more. The reporting enables you to really understand what content is making an impact in the system and where you need to focus with your marketing and sales efforts.
Notifications
People are busy and therefore notifications are an essential part of the Denali application. Define who gets notifications and when. You define what triggers a notification.
Users can personalize their environment and define the frequency and type of information alerts.
TeamTalk
TeamTalk is an optional feature that enables users on the system to communicate directly with the various dashboard teams — private conversations. Users can ask questions and find assistance from the actual teams behind your services or products. This is a great feature for those companies looking to embrace open communication among team members and their customers.
Bug Reports and Requests
Denali provides an in-built bug tracking and feature request system. Users can post notifications about problems or request new features. No need to fill out contact forms or use other tools — it is there and handy.
