Objectives

Gatelets was approached by Matarozzi Peslsinger to revamp their corporate Web site. The organization was keen to have Gatelets provide the following:

• A new clean, minimalistic look and feel
• Ability for employees to manage content on the site, including adding projects and their specific information
• Improved usability and navigation - any new employee should be able to enter the site and do the required work

What we did

Gatelets provided the organization a unique anonymous brief in order to gather input from all employees. Based on the feedback, we created a plan for management and discussed various recommendations. Gatelets generated various design options and worked with a smaller team to find the optimal direction. Gatelets got to work using our Denali framework. Some of the key features include:

• The system provides in-place editing capabilities. Employees with sufficient access rights can modify content "in place" — no need to go to a separate CMS interface.
• Using Denali, Gatelets created an abstracted Matarozzi-Pelsinger set of programmatic interfaces. Using this clean approach, we put in place the building blocks so the site can evolve and change over time and as the business needs change.
• The site provides a rich project user interface—authors on the site can add projects within seconds, including images, testimonials, press and more.
• The site enables administrators to interactively map projects to a Google map without having to write any code.
• System provides useful in-built tools include HTML Editor, multiple file upload and automatic file resizing. It is all designed to make life as easy as possible for the employees.
• In-build blogging environment
• Gatelets 100% hosts, supports and maintains the site.

Where does the relationship stand?

Gatelets has developed a very strong relationship with management and employees at Matarozzi Pelsinger. Post releasing the site, Gatelets was asked to support Matarozzi Pelsinger with various monthly marketing activities including intelligent online newsletters, collateral (brochures, videos, case studies etc.) and some marketing strategy activities.
