InMind Design is a small Web Design company in the Bay Area that helps Gatelets implement some projects and importantly helps us support our production sites. Once a Web site is in production, it is important for us to ensure things are being maintained correctly. InMind Designs supports us support our customers.

We are a huge fan of MailChimp for email delivery and marketing programs. Gatelets has done extensive work with MailChimp and supported customers with custom workflows to support their email needs. We are fully capable of working with the MailChimp developer APIs and providing our customers with custom email business logic.

Amazon S3 is storage for the Internet. It is designed to make web-scale computing easier for developers. Based on specific needs (amount and size of files to be distributed, global reach, cost) Gatelets will leverage Amazon S3 to enable improved Web site scalability and efficiency.
Note: We also leverage Marcellus for our video delivery. Marcellus uses Amazon Cloud as its service backbone. -
We have to run our projects professionally — so we will often turn to 37 Signal's Basecamp - it is used by millions of people and is a leading online project collaboration tool. The environment enables us to communicate effectively with our teams and the customer.
Note: Gatelets will be releasing what we call "GCS" in early 2012 - this will be our customer environment, enabling customers to post bug reports, request new projects, access files and see monthly site/product analytics.

Several folks (mainly non-hikers) wanted to hike Mt. Kilimanjaro summer 2011. Certainly some of this was for their own personal fun and experience. They were also raising awareness of the Maasai people in Africa and organizing funds to buy an ambulance for their region.

Gatelets is a strategic partner supporting the annual Norcal Kids Triathlon. This event was established by the Orinda Foundation on the East Bay. Gatelets supports this event in various technical ways.

We are having a lot of fun working with an awesome surfboard shaper in the Bay Areas. It is too early to showcase work, but it is awesome to test-drive some amazing creations.
